I was thinking about happiness the other day. Really I was. And I was thinking about how happy I was going to be to see a good friend of mine coming this weekend. And then I thought to myself I would’ve something happens and I don’t get to see sad person. Will I not be happy and I thought about how so many people hinge their happiness on a certain event whether it be marriage or a job promotion or what have you. I agree that we can choose to be happy despite our circumstances and that includes what is happening around us. I had no idea that school shootings have been going on for literally over 100 years. Thank you so much for everything you’ve been writing lately. I’ve read all of them so far. 😊

Yeah, that's the problem. Big, exciting, happy things are only going to happen every so often in life. If you wait for the "big" things to make you happy, you're going to end up spending most of your life somewhere between miserable and just numb. I just wrote an article I think you will like about how to be happy every day. Thank you so much for reading - and for commenting - glad to know I'm not just "writing into the void!"
