Although Matt Walsh claims to be a "Christian" his actions say otherwise. The Bible says the name you call yourself doesn't matter, your fruit does. So what kind of fruit is Matt Walsh producing?
so you're saying he's a false Christian because he asks leftists what a woman is? He obviously knows what it is idiot, they're just trying to reidentify the word to mean something completely different and he's fighting for us. plus he quotes the bible many times and i don't think that a "wolf in sheep's clothing" would be so devoted. All the videos that you linked weren't from the Daily Wire, and were most likely false information. God also doesn't like when people talk trash about his disciples. so maybe take the log out of your eye before trying to take the splinter out of your brother's eye.
Thanks for taking the time to leave such a thought provoking comment. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but Jesus was actually Jewish. Also, Jesus did not start the "Christian" religion, the Romans did. Hence the reason there is still a Roman Catholic Church, from which all Protestant denominations actually spring.
Jesus told us we would know his disciples by their fruit, not by the name they call themselves or how many Bible verses they can quote. That fruit would be peace, patience, kindness, etc of which I personally see very little evidence of in Matt Walsh, but that's just me. We are all called to discern for ourselves. So, if Matt Walsh is what you think Jesus looks like, well, more power to you!
So, you don’t believe God made men and women differently then? Because that is Matt Walsh’s whole point. We’re different. Women are created for a specific purpose. Men are created for a specific purpose. Men are called to lead, provide for and protect his wife. Women are called to submit to and to be a helpmeet. Women are also nurturers and bear children. Doesn’t mean men and women can’t have similar characteristics to the opposite sex. They absolutely can, but denying their God given gender is a problem.
Also, I do believe God made men and women differently but that is literally not the point Matt Walsh is trying to make. In fact, he’s not even offering a point at all. He’s simply asking a question and then mocking anyone that refuses to answer it in a concrete way. It’s a complicated question and he knows it. He’s literally just trying to gain attention for himself by stirring up chaos and controversy, which, by the way, is entirely unbiblical.
Whelp, that is certainly your opinion, you are entitled to it but I would be real careful if I were you about speaking for God. Of course, you can do what you want and all but from what I read in my Bible just seems like a reality, really bad idea.
The Bible clearly says there’s biblical manhood and womanhood. No one can deny that. Read Ephesians 5:22-33. Genesis 2:18 talks about woman made for man and being a helpmeet.
I get it’s a hard concept for most and maybe a bit old fashioned, but feminism hasn’t done anything for women. Or men for that matter. I’ve struggled with it, but as I keep reading about biblical womanhood, it’s clear God created women purposely. As He did men.
I get it’s your blog and I came across it by accident, but denying gender is denying the Bible. At least Matt Walsh isn’t afraid of admitting that. Or many other conservative Christians.
Yeah, the Bible is actually a compilation of 66 books, written over the course of thousands of years - and none of it in English, which means it is subject to interpretation. The reason we have so many different versions of the Bible is that no one quite agrees on the interpretation. That means any time someone says “the Bible is clear” about anything, what yoh really mean is “this is what I’ve decided it means and other people agree with me.” Since none of those people are God, that’s literally all you have is your interpretation.
Again, that’s your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. The “Bible” however, (as you call it) is actually a compilation of 66 books, written over a time period of thousands of years in at least two different languages: Hebrew and Greek. Scholars have literally been arguing for centuries over its meaning, but sure, you and Matt Walsh are clearly highly educated scholars that know more than anyone else - including God apparently.
By the way, no one is arguing that men and women are different, we’re just not different in the ways men have decided for centuries that we are different, nor do most of us care to define for YOU how we are different. Unless you are God, (which you clearly seem to believe you are) it’s none of your damn business. Also, for someone delusional enough to think they are God you sure do seem to think your opinion should carry a lot of weight.
So when someone disagrees with you or says the Bible talks about gender, you call them delusional? Not here to cause trouble, but what’s going on in the world today (think whatever wave of feminism this is, lgbt, hook up culture, abortion, many other things) are not biblical. The people stuck in these lifestyles need help. And for people to help them, instead of encouraging sin.
I thought this was a Christian website anyway. How else would you call the Bible. It’s literally what its called. And men didn’t create separate genders. God did. I never said I was God. But, studying the Bible shows these things. People just choose to go along with the world and stray from God. But hey, I am only a young woman who wants to be what God designed me to be. And to understand what it truly means to be a woman.
The only person you can decide for us you. When you start trying to decide for everyone else what it means to be a man or a woman, you are playing God. God gave us free will. God also may or may not have created two and only two genders. There is a world of possibility when it comes to humanity, because God also clearly designed is to grow, morph, evolve and change. So, while yes the first two humans would appear to have been male and female based on their ability to reproduce, that says absolutely nothing about the larger role God intended for humans. Not all women are capable of bearing children, nor do they all want to. Not all women get married or want to be married. Other than the fact that if a couple wants to have a child, it will have to be the woman or person with a female reproductive system that has it, there are literally no other “clearly” defined roles. Which is why it is not Matt Walsh’s right, nor anyone else’s to take it upon themselves to define what a woman is. You can define what YOU are, you don’t get to make that definition for anyone else.
Well, the more people go away from biblical womanhood and manhood, the more men and women are under appreciated and undervalued. I don’t care what anyone else does. But, when someone decides to say that God didn’t create men and women with purpose, I’ll comment. Anyway, pointless to argue and I probably shouldn’t have commented.
As for God giving humans free will. He sure did. But as Christians, we’re called to follow him. Give up our selfish desires. Our hearts are deceitful.
1.) Interested to know what you think I need to repent of and
2.) What makes you think I don’t?
I know this may come as a shock to you but one might argue that believing the gospel actually involves rejecting Christianity. You know, the religion that Matt Walsh claims to promote. If Matt Walsh is representative of what a Christian looks like, I can assure you, I have no interest. That does not, however, mean I do not “believe” the gospel as you say.
Irony. You criticize Walsh for just making things up, when that is exactly what the trans community does when it comes to gender. Somehow gender guided by feelings makes reality. Don't think so, now or ever. There is no person that was ever born a man sexually that has changed their chromosomes to become a woman or vise versa. It's all a poorly constructed ban aid.
What I find very interesting is that you use the term "sexually" to define how a man or woman is born.... Kind of shows where your head is at and what you really think is the problem here. Like maybe what you're really worried about is being attracted to a woman sexually that you find out is not "sexually" a woman after all.
I don't know how to tell you this but everything is not about sex but the very fact that you make everything about sex is a huge part of the problem. Maybe some people just want to be human beings not constantly sexualized beings.
If Matt or his crew lied about anything then yes that was very wrong. I don't believe it . I mean did he lie about his name? He would have had to if he went into this determined to lie. All it would take is a quick search and none of those people would have been willing to talk to him. It's much more likely that he just wasn't very specific about his own view point and they just didn't know who he was and didn't bother looking it up. Now that I think about it he couldn't have lied otherwise how would the people who rejected him have known it was him as I previously mentioned he would have had to lie about his name if he was determined to lie and trick his way into those interviews. Not tell them all the details and being vague about his own viewpoint yeah I bet he did those. He clearly would have had to be at least a bit vague there were some clearly hostile people in What is a Woman. Ultimately Matt is pointing out the obvious that a woman is born a woman and cannot become a woman. As a woman I am very upset at the gender appropriation and while yes he was a bit .... not nice about it but there are women who are losing their rights to some man who decided he had the rights to the benefits of a woman without the hardships that any natural born woman has to deal with. It's wrong and that is much more wrong than Matt Walsh being a bit not nice to a few people. Why can't we just protect the girls and women who are being hurt by the lie that men can be women. Also the women at the March weren't having a hard time deciding how to define a woman because we haven't had enough time to think about it. Before this issue came up no woman was trying to redefine the word women. They couldn't define it bc they didn't want to hurt the feelings of some men with gender confusion. Ok so I tried to follow the link about the deception. Yes deception was definitely used I personally consider that a lie. I understand that most people don't consider deception a lie. Clearly he didn't use his name now I want to know if he used his name when he actually met them I didn't notice when I watched it. It makes sense if he wants to ask the hard questions in a society that needs safe spaces that he would assume it was the only way to talk to them. But a lie is a lie and that is wrong. As fat as saying that this isn't Nazi Germany and he wasn't lying to save a life.... Well idk about that this lie that people can change genders that's definitely going to cause some suicides. American is looking more and more like Germany before the war every day. They slowly indoctrination people getting them to accept more and more lies and atrocious every day. We r still in the early days Ben or Matt or somebody said something about we would pull out of this spiral in time that's the same thing everybody thought before the war. This will blow over only it just got worse and worse till the most vile evil things were being done to people. I believe this is just the tip of the spear and 10 years from now free speech will b a thing of the past and American will look like Nazi Germany during the war shortly thereafter.

Which part of calling other people "idiots" is in keeping with your Christian values?
Hey Veronica!
